Our Vision for the Arena
The Lightning Arena will feature a modern design with a seating capacity of 2,500, including five luxury skyboxes for premium viewing experiences. This venue will host up to 15 home games per season for the Little Rock Lightning, providing a first-class fan experience that ensures unforgettable moments for every attendee. It will serve as a gathering point for not just basketball fans, but for the entire community as we host various events that foster togetherness and excitement year-round.
Why This Matters
This arena project is rooted in our commitment to uplift and engage our community. We believe sports play a crucial role in uniting people, promoting health and wellness, and providing opportunities for our youth to learn, grow, and be inspired by positive role models. The arena will also have integrated classrooms for our K-12 after-school program, offering free basketball training, academic support, financial literacy education in partnership with People Trust, and much more.
Our initiative aims to offer an alternative to traditional prep and private programs, ensuring every child in our community has access to resources, mentors, and experiences that can shape their futures for the better.
The “Brick by Brick” Campaign
To bring this vision to life, we invite our supporters, fans, and community partners to participate in the “Brick by Brick” campaign. This campaign allows individuals and businesses to be part of the arena’s legacy by purchasing personalized engraved bricks that will form both the walkway leading to the main entrance and a prestigious Hall of Fame Wall within the arena. Each brick is a lasting symbol of your support and dedication to making this dream a reality.
